	Remotely monitor a water meter's

	Consumption of water used since reset was enabled. Rate of flow of water at a given period of time. Alarm conditions. Typically set at a high flow rate this would monitor conditions such as a water line break or a sprinkler system has been activated. The high-flow setting would close a latch relay onboard the monitor and close a "loop" to whatever is remotely connected to the back mounted connections.

The handheld computer requires a meter reading application to be uploaded into it's memory. It will operate with many such programs such as Hersey Water Meters EZ-READER application software package. Once the handheld is activated for meter readings the unit will start your loaded reading application. The manual key functions allows the meter reader to enter updated - current readings from meters at each location within the program interface. If manual key entry becomes too time consuming the Psion handheld includes a ready interface port for universal Touch Read probes.
